'Most Wanted' covers search for million-dollar robbery suspect - Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

It aired last night. I didn't hear about it until I read it today.

Apparently the show revealed new details.

TV Show Reveals New Details On Armored Truck Heist Suspect « CBS Pittsburgh

Maybe there will be a rerun. I'll check to see if it's OnDemand.

Here's the info page from the show's website:

AMW | Fugitives | Kenneth Konias | Brief

They say he didn't plan to kill his partner. The police found evidence at his home that he was planning this all along but the plan was to drug his partner. They believe that he snapped due to fear he would lose his job before he had a chance to act because he was being investigated for stolen lottery tickets.

Police say he's a law enforcement buff and knows how to evade police.

Last weekend, as I was driving home from visiting some friends in metro Atlanta, I saw an LED billboard with the FBI posting his mugshot on it. This manhunt has gone nationwide.

It sure has! I think it's interesting that police have determined that he planned the robbery but didn't plan the murder. I'm surprised to hear he's a law enforcement buff they believe knows how to evade police. Here we were all thinking he was a stupid idiot. Since he only worked there for two months, it's very likely he applied for the job with the intentions of a heist.

I believe it's international. There was (is) a concern he may have fled to Canada.
