I haven't seen a ranking on top test markets since 2004, but Columbus was pretty far down the list, in the 60s or so. It used to be a top market but got richer, younger and more diverse than "middle america". But it seems to have acquired a niche for junk food testing. Upstate NY has 3 of the top 5. Pittsburgh is 108.

I was told that Toledo was the restaurant epicenter of America. Restaurants, servers, cooks, etc. were serious business in Toledo. Anyone know if that is true?

I saw snake meat at the Market District in Settler's Ridge last time I was in town.
