Nah. I've never liked sweet pickles in anything. I'll send back a tuna salad if it's got sweet pickle in it. You couldn't add enough mint to that relish to change my mind.

Personally I'd go with toasted fennel seeds over celery salt.

The radioactive green relish is sweet pickle and mint. That I cannot abide.

Like I said earlier, I like the pickle spear and peppers.

Back on topic, I will definitely have to try it out sometime. It sounds like an interesting place to eat
I loved them when they were on Liberty, you could barely get in the door.
I wish them lots of luck!
Peppers on a dog, who knew.

Great fries.

So glad that I ran into the owner on Saturday and he told me about coming back to town. Best place to eat in downtown, IMO. The fries, hot dogs, and the sausage there are some of my all-time favorite foods.

I can't stand an actual Chicago-style dog, but the other stuff looks good.

if its made right, the relish shouldn't be noticed much, if at all. its more for show. im not a sweet pickle fan either, but vastly enjoy a well-prepared chicago dog. Now if only the burgh could import THIS place... duck fat fried fries anyone?

Hot Doug's

I don't like hot dogs so much anyway but one of the best things about a Chicago dog is that it's all beef. Besides that, though, I prefer a grilled dog - and less stuff. Actually, now a spicy Coney Island dog sounds just right
