I had dinner and a few drinks downtown last night. Had a couple beers outside at Sharp Edge, which was ground zero for furry traffic, and I noticed them to have mostly positive interactions with non-furries, posing for pictures and such. Also, I had a little time to kill while waiting for some friends, so I took a short passeggiata down along the Allegheny. As I reached the convention center, I came upon a group of furries smoking a hookah! (It would be a nice place for a leisurely smoke in the evening sun.)

I snagged a cab around 1130 and the driver also seemed to get a hoot out of the furries.

Each year Pittsburgh seems to be more and more accepting of the furries.

A group of six furries in business suits, carrying suitcases (with animal heads hands and tails!) just walked by my office.

Well played, furries. Well played.

That's hilarious!

Generally I feel like the furries are more outgoing and playful with the general public these days. And that might be the natural consequence of ATC's observation.
