- Better public transportation
- Better, convenient, affordable access to transportation leaving the city, mainly in regards to getting to Ontario.
- Less humidity
- One Allegheny County-wide school district
- Topography that allowed for the highways to be widened and certain on-ramp/off-ramps to be changed, alleviating some of the traffic issues around the Squirrel Hill and Fort Pitt tunnels.

1. An east/west Interstate that's built to current Interstate standards.

2. Light rail to the eastern and western suburbs (including the airport).

3. A plan for development along the Parkway West corridor.
