I'm thinking Quebec City, Halifax, or St. John's.

I've been there also and agree. I went right after Christmas so it was really cold (and up there the sun started to set a little before 4). Ive gone away when's its cold and hot and I prefer the cold any day unless it's the beach.

I went out that afternoon to take a picture of a bank thermometer a few miles from my house, and while I was driving, I noticed that there literally wasn't a single cloud in the sky. If the pressure was so high that clouds couldn't even form in a subtropical air mass, then that just illustrated the "pressure cooker" effect that I was dealing with. The sky wasn't even a pure blue either; it was a milky, hazy blue that turned almost white underneath the sun and around the horizon.

Has anyone ever noticed how much better the ladies look when it's hot than when it's cold?

I'm sure you guys have noticed the ladies when they walk into an air conditioned establishment after being in the summer heat.

Think on the positive side.

I'm too busy drooling at the fact that so few Pittsburgh males wear a shirt when the temperature surpasses 90 degrees.

Erie should really capitalize upon this as yet another reason why people should visit Presque Isle to "beat the heat!"
