I honestly can stand this man!

A good governor would say we are putting together a strategic plan to ensure all elderly people have transportation to Penndot to renew they're expired ID's! We will target College campuses to ensure all students have up to date school ID's. We will require Penndot to be open from 7-9 two days a week for ID renewal. Corbett simply doesn't care! The man cant even tell the people all valid forms of Identification thats required. Worst governor ever!

PA Gov. Corbett Doesn't Know New Voter ID Requirements - YouTube

Look at the times of Penndot downtown!

No one who has a normal job can leave their jobs for 2 hours and sit at the DMV.

Even though this new law is bogus because their is no proof of voters fraud, the governor doesn't even make an attempted to ensure he's residence have adequate access to make sure they'll be able to vote this coming election!

To be fair, many of the other photo ID sites, like those in Bridgeville and East Liberty do have Saturday hours as well as M-F and are open until 6.

For anyone who really wants to vote, I don't see this as any kind of great barrier.

BTW, Gov. Corbett is a Republican, why would he be interested in stimulating high voter turnout among students that aren't going to vote for him anyhow? Labor unions don't go door to door in Sewickley Heights with voters registration forms to make sure those folks are all registered for similar reasons. I wouldn't expect them to.

And they have no problem making trips to the casinos and figuring out how to use those scary complicated electronic machines

In this thread, ridiculous stereotypes about lower income folks. Very classy, legitimate political discussion. Any wonder that anything to do with politics and government in this country or state is a joke.

It is disappointing to see such a strongly dismissive attitude towards such a large portion of the American populace. All Americans deserve to have as few obstacles as possible between them and their right to vote, including the ones I personally dislike.
