Hi, I am a European student and I'm going to spend 4 months in pittsburgh (with an international study program at the university of Pittsburgh). The period should be from January to April. Could someone give any advice on how and where to find apartments for such a short time? Will it be difficult? I will need an apartment near the University (so I can walk to it). Thank you for any help (advice from current or former students will be very appreciated)

I was once a grad student at Pitt. Probably your best bet will be to look for a sublet from another student (this could be a whole apartment, or a room in an apartment you would be sharing with other students). You can find them advertised on Craigslist and also in the classified section of The Pitt News. Your program may also be able to help you--in fact they might know of other students looking for a roommate.
