Here's a situation where one candidate's experience, education and ethics far exceed that of the other. If Pittsburghers would just abandon the archaic practice of party affiliations/ties and vote for the best-qualified candidate, we as a city could start to experience progress. Imagine yourself as an employer interviewing and hiring for a position...who would hire Ravenstahl over Desantis after reviewing their respective resumes? Who would hire Ravenstahl over Desantis after a personal interview, review of their accomplishments and a check of their references? Not many I presume, yet it looks like the city majority will vote for the incumbent based solely on his party affiliation, not his capabilities and qualifications. That’s real progress people...the old school politics has served us sooooo well. Has anyone seen downtown Pittsburgh lately? Think for yourself and vote for the best-qualified candidate.

Yeah, but remember, DeSantis is an evil Republican...we can't have someone in office that thinks we should create a business-friendly, lower-tax city with a growing economy that would benefit everyone. Organized labor and government spending are the only things that can create prosperity...not those evil businesses.
