I was talking to someone that lives right there and he stated that there was going to be condos and a shopping area. They will have a nice river view, but not riverfront. Last I heard it was going to be warehouse space. Anyone hear anything new about that big 26 acre or so lot?

I haven't heard anything lately about that area but I would love for this to happen. I hope they don't put warehouses over there in such a prime location that could be used for much better things.

They haven't done anything with that site really since they tore down the old mill that used to be there.

It would seem like a good place for warehouse or other industrial use to me- those kinds of things might not be glamourous but they are certainly needed. The site does have river and rail access as well as pretty easy access to Routes 8 and 28 from there.
