I use to live in Friendship and Lawrenceville. I currently live in New Kensington and wish I would have NEVER left either of those areas. Not only was everything convenient but the mindset of the community was far more stimulating.

I seriously have no idea what you're talking about. Do you mean the 1% wage tax and 2% school tax that has been around for a long time? That's old news. These tax abatements are still great news for people. You act like the 3% is a new thing to counterbalance the tax abatements. At the end of the day, city residents in Pittsburgh will have a larger bottom dollar, some will be considerable - ever more than the total payout in city taxes.
