Just going by what I was told when I was talking to the county appraiser. My sq. ft. is not even close. They have my home much larger than it is. Nothing I can do about it.

Not sure who you talked to, but a difference is square footage is easily addressed. No doubt you have had an appraisal done on your house at one time, use those measurements. Or measure it yourself and present the evidence. A friend of mine that owns a condo had a discrepancy of over 500sf, the county changed it and his assessment was lowered.

Don't sit and *****, do something.

Never had an appraisal done on this home. I do that myself.

The county did make an adjustment on my square feet. I wasn't sure how much, but they are very close no to being on target. I know my assessment will go down. I just don't know how much.
