Sheesh! Google Earth still doesn't have Scranton's satellite imagery in its database, yet cities are already being upgraded to street-level views? Boy do I feel loved! LOL!

It really is. My favorite thing to do with it is type in the address in driving directions from my apartment to where im going and "drive" there ahead of time, so I already know what it looks like before I go. I'm glad everyone is loving this as much as me. I probably spend some time with this everyday, haha.

Did anyone else have this problem? I took a left turn and started to panic because I couldn't see both sides really quickly and didn't want to get hit by traffic from the other lanes! HAHA!

And was anyone else wondering about privacy when there are all these pictures of all these houses and cars on the internet? Kinda creepy.

But the images don't show anything that any driver or pedestrian wouldn't see as they're driving or walking down the street. And faces don't seem to be recognizable, and license plates aren't readable.

I saw a lady the other day while driving. Bless her heart, she was bent over getting groceries or something from the back seat. Booty city. Can you imagine being immortalized like that? :P

Are ya kidding? The U.S. Spy satellites can see the date on a dime on the sidewalk, not to mention that Bush is listening to all our conversations, lol.

Thank you for the laugh, btw, regarding not looking both ways on google before turning!!! :-)

That's pretty creepy, that they can look everything up to that minute detail. The difference is, not everyone can go looking. I don't know, the thought of having some perp/stalker find me or find out something about me through pics is a bit bothersome.

My parents (calling from Germany) get paranoid when I say negative things about Bush, they think that I might get in trouble with the people listening in. I keep telling them they can't deport you, there's still freedom of speech. Then I hang up after the phone call and get a bit worried and paranoid about deportation... Sigh.

Yea, that looking both ways thing is pretty pathetic, isn't it? My 7 y o son wanted to 'play', so I let him drive a round a little, he really liked it!

This is VERY helpful for me when looking for apts on Craigslist (from Boston) and they never show exterior shots or the neighboorhood. Thanks!
