We had 10. One group of 8 playing it safe by going all together. We're also the only house on our street giving out goodies.

Worse yet -- it's been years since anyone got into the spirit of the thing. They may be dressed up, but they don't even say trick or treat anymore. It's weird -- like they don't enjoy doing it, or don't understand why they are doing this, they just know they are supposed to, so they do.

Makes it not fun for us.

Oh my gosh I know what you mean! Some of mine just come up to the door, put their bag out and say nothing and then leave. I had a few teenagers who actually dressed up well and knew what they were doing and said Trick or Treat but so many were either not dressed up and not doing it right lol. I know I always said trick or treat and thanks!
