Thumbs up Westinghouse moving to Cranberry

Globalburgh mentioned on another thread that,

"Westinghouse will be moving literally thousands of highly educated people into a Cranberry campus."

Is that true? If so, that's great! Will it provide more jobs for the Pittsburgh area? Are these "new" jobs?

That's old news!! Technically speaking, it's bad news for Allegheny County and good news for Butler County. They are moving out of Monroeville and into Cranberry. I believe they are increasing enrollment as well, so in the end, yes it's good for the greater Pittsbugh metro but might actually cause a slip in Allegheny County jobs.

Yes, it's true. The jobs will be moved from Monroeville, but there will be some new jobs as well.

Here's a question. Why does everyone who lives in Allegheny county look down upon those who do not?

No. It was just a question. You were talking about Butler County. I just have noticed that some individuals from northern allegheny county can be a little snobby towards individuals who are from across the border. I was just wondering why that is.

Ahh, I see. Hm, I'm not sure. People from Cranberry can be quite snobby, too. I think that entire area is just full of wealth and snotty-ness. LOL.
