Gordon Ramsey redoes Miss Jean's Southern Cuisine in Wilkinsburg - Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

they were here in the spring filming episodes at miss jean's southern cuisine in wilkinsburg and levanti's in beaver. the wilkinsburg episode airs tomorrow, the beaver one in march.

i thought miss jean's had closed this summer, but apparently they just moved. it doesn't seem like a good move, from a high visibility spot on penn to a spot inside a community center a few blocks from penn, but at least they didn't close.

Where is that restaurant in Wilkinsburg, and what station is that show on?

As I cruise through downtown Wilkinsburg, there are a few places that always catch my eye and make me want to stop and try

kitchen nightmares is on at 8pm friday on fox.

the restaurant used to be right on penn, by the save a lot (and i believe the sign is still there), but it's moved to hosanna house at wallace and mill st, apparently because the building on penn was sold.

I watched the clips and Ramsay seems extremely humane in those. Seems he really likes the Pittsburgh area and what it represents. Said good things about eating at Meat & Potatoes too.
