This recent newspaper article is the first time I've heard of Pittsburgh Dad.

It says he does a YouTube series that received 3 million views within 6 months.

I investigated and discovered he does comedy clips about Pittsburgh.

YouTube might have helped this man launch a successful comedy career someday.

I don't know how I never heard of him. There are many newspaper articles about him

Yeah, he has been on the local tv & radio stations numerous times over the years. Quite a lot on DVE, twitter, etc. Pretty well known all over Pgh. I think he has attended many of the Pirate games.

Even Wiki has a write up on him;

He started making posting his videos on YouTube at the end of 2011 and he's become a big local Internet sensation. I'm surprised you never heard of these clips.

I remember watching one of his clips someone posted here a long time ago. I just thought it was a random YouTube someone thought was funny and posted here. I had no idea he became a sensation and received so much media attention, but I live in a bubble in the Great White North near Copanut.

I got to meet him when he and Chris did an appearance down here in Fort Lauderdale. He slips right into character at the drop of a hat. Funny!
