Obviously, the only solution is for everybody in a bar to be required to have a gun and to tremble in fear about how dangerous Pittsburgh is compared to the peaceful countryside.

I think its usually prudent for the bartender to be armed, although perhaps not the drinking customers. The possibility of an armed robbery needs to be considered, particularly in a big cash business.

Yeah, I'm sure those two upstanding gentlemen would have simply not carried there if it weren't allowed.

Check your guns at the door. Used to be the thing to do, back in the good old days or before we started failing to understand the 2nd Amendment. One of them. Oh well.

Really, you should check them before you even leave home. The last thing you want is to walk into a bar with one that's not loaded, or not working properly...

I have a great friend (refer to her as my sis) who lives in Fairchance. Whenever I go down that way i'm highly aware of what's going on. It seems that being such a small area everybody is into everyone elses business and when that happens things have tendency to "pop off". My rule of thumb (ccw holder) is to carry going in unless they wand. When that happens i'll pull the forgot wallet in the car routine and leave it there. People from that area have a very good feel if you're not from the area.
