Berate chain-filled Cranberry as soulless, complain the city doesn't have enough chains. Slander "yinzer slobs" on a public forum, stuff face with Burger King.

Also for the 1000th time, if you're already on the internet use Yelp and Urbanspoon.

popeye's is open again in monroeville now, the fast food mecca!

i also remember noticing many years ago that north versailles had a stunning array of fast food places but i don't know how long it's been since i've actually paid attention to what was still there.

KFC closed in Homewood and Garfield, BK and Taco Bell closed on Baum. Back in the day , there were 3 Burger Kings in town but they pulled out.

I guess people are just going for different dining options.

I would like to see more Dunkin Donuts around the city....and why there isn't a Chipotle on the South Side and in the Waterfront escapes me they would do serious business in these hot spots, there is one supposedly coming to Central EL sometime soon.

There are more and more of them all the time. I know a couple of new ones have opened downtown, and there's one in Oakland that wasn't there ten years ago.

Hardee's owned Burger Chef and decided to close the chain, didn't see the value of this separate brand.
