Huh? I don't think there's a major bus route more than 10 minutes walking from any part of Point Breeze. Takes us 15 minutes to walk to Forbes and Murray.

Anyway, most people I've talked to about city schools don't have any relevant experience - either it was from the 80s, or based on ignorant comments like the police seem to make. Call me naive, but we'll take our chances for now.

.

10 minutes is about 1/3 of a mile, I'd venture to say that Penn Avenue or 5th Avenue and the 71 bus are within an easy walk of the vast majority of Point Breeze. It isn't that large of an area.

I said the walk to the busway was too long. It was about .6 of a mile form my apartment. Too far in my opinion.

I loved living in Regent Square, I could have bought a house there for cheap after I graduated from college in 2002. It is quite a benefit to be only steps away from what has to be some of the best urban hiking in the nation.
