He's 1 of their top 3 pitchers. Hes worth 12 mill. Who you gonna replace him with? Is Nutting gonna be able to find another guy of his caliber that another team is gonna pay 1/2 their salary? Bucs said they want him back. Time for Bob to pay up.

He blew game 1 badly, acted arrogant in showing up the manager, and he's not so reliable on the mound anymore.

Wandy will be back next season too.

Wow, 1 game.

If that's the case then why do they want him back?

Can never have enough starting pitching.

26 to 27, not so bad, 36 to 37, sorry, a 1 year contract loaded with incentives.

Pretty sure he doesn't want to play more than a year. Incentives? You think he's gonna sandbag after he gets a 1 year deal? He can go somewhere else and get 14 mill. Do the right thing for him and the team and pay the man.

Get rid of one of the top 3 pitchers? Now I understand why so many are willing to accept a subpar team, why winning 1 time in 7 or 20 years is okay, why Nutting will raise ticket prices, pocket 25 mill in tv revenue, pocket playoff money and merchandise, have one of the most profitible losing franchises, etc..., and people readily accept it. Thinking about it, if I were him I'd probably do the same thing.

I'd like to see Burnett come back, but we have pitching depth. Jameson Taillon has a good chance of working his way into the rotation by mid-summer. And Nick Kingham isn't far behind.

First base should be the Buccos top priority.

Can never have enough and all they have to do is stroke the check for first base. Burnett isn't breaking their bank. It all comes down to wanting to win or wanting to keep the money.

Not going to rewrite the thing but basically:
1) Loved your ultimatum. Be a fan, or don't.
2) Ben is a physically gifted, talented QB. But not a leader of men.
3) If he were, there wouldn't have been an issue with pool and ping pong. Or all the complaints from his WRs and stupidity from some of the RBs.
4) See Brady, Tom or Pennington, Chad.

Brady and Belicheat got caught cheating and Chad Pennington couldn't carry Ben's jock. He was hurt half of his career and basically never won a thing. The Jets have been one of the most dysfunctional teams in the last 20 or so years. Did nothing in Miami, either.
