Verona area
Hi everyone. I'm probably going to be getting a duplex in the Verona area (Quincy Drive area). I will be working at Chatham Center for the near future (on 5th and Washington by Mellon Arena, I guess it's "uptown").
I'm from the Greensburg area and am TOTALLY unfamiliar with what my commute is going to be like, and what Verona is like. I don't think the area was bad, but it was hard to tell just being there for a half an hour. The main thing that kills me is having to park on the street, but thats just a quirk I guess.
Can anyone give me some input on this move, and if the area has any major drawbacks (I have no kids so schools don't matter)? And would taking the Highland Bridge to 28 be the best commute choice? I know I don't want to deal with 376 anymore, so that is out of the question, but I keep wondering if 28 is going to be much better.
