I was up at Seven Springs on Sunday and it was amazing for springtime. Windy on the lifts, but about six inches of new snow, 35 degrees, and even the patches of ice were soft enough to still hold an edge. Wishing I could head back up this weekend, but I have moving to do.

I have a Snowshoe season pass - $199, gives 1 free day and then all half price days at 7 Springs, Wisp, Blue Knob, probably others. Got about 15 ski days on this season's so pretty good value Already bought one for next year.

My hopes were fulfilled very nicely, methinks. had a fine ski season

Now I'll hope for a average summer, not too hot, so I can get in enough long bike training rides for a few centuries from June onwards. Hoping for a good biking season ....

The Farmers Almanac called this as an unusually cold winter and they are predicting a hot wet summer starting in mid/late June. If I were in your cleated shoes, I would get those base miles in asap.

So long as it is an abnormally long summer.

The snowpack in Vermont is good still, and if it lasts we may head up there for a long weekend in a couple of weeks. I love spring skiing.
I just returned from Vermont. Conditions are nice. The weekend of the 12th-13th will be your latest chance. Vermont resorts don't stay open after the 15th because of bears to avoid starving bears out of hibernation chancing skiers down the slopes.

I'm looking forward to seeing if this is true. Seven Springs too.

Jay Peak are open until Mother's Day. Sugarbush should open all April at least. Killington's website says "Closing Day: As long as the snow lasts, May, maybe into June (weather and conditions permitting)". Sugarloaf goes well in to May. I think there's hope for some skiing end of April

There must not be hibernating bears on those mountains. That's good news for you.
