There are tons of mediocre pizza joints in this city, and a handful of REALLY good ones. Mineo's and Fiore's are probably my top two.

Places like Beto's and Vincent's (the OG Vincent's in Forest Hills) make what I think of as novelty pizza. They are unique, and I happen to like them, but some people don't and I can see why.

I think Sola is the closest to NY style that I've had in Pgh.

I can't believe somebody mentioned Di Salla's as being "good". I used to eat it all the time. it sastisfied an urge, but man, it was not "good".

Also the idea that Youngstown has better pizza than Pgh is pretty laughable.
