I agree with all of the others. Take the bus and save the money. See if work will reimburse you for a bus pass instead of a parking pass.

Thanks all.

I'm a healthy 25 year old so the walk won't kill me. I just didn't know how much of a PITA the walk from Wood to the Gateway area would be.

I'm sticking with my plan of getting a bus pass and biking in the summer.

It should be nice too, as my building has a gym/locker room/showers, so I should be able to bus/bike in sweats and get dressed at the office.

How is Bloomfield to Downtown a unique commute?

My fiancé commutes from Wilkinsburg to Sewickly. THAT is unique.

LOL. I was just going to be a wag and post the same thing with this recent bump. I was wondering too. Not sure why OP chose to call it unique as it doesn't seem to be

Do you know how ridiculously easy a bicycle commute would be? Liberty has a bike lane and it is down hill, so you wouldn't even sweat. Heck on the way home if you are lazy you could throw your bike on the front of a bus and cruise home or if you feel like it ride. That commute would be less than 20 minutes to work.
