As someone who has been fearing getting banned himself lately, I can agree with that statement.

I think there are a lot of us who think we are the "trolls" that are being referred to. Like vwscottie, I feel I have provided some good information, too, even if it isn't always what everyone wants to hear. We shouldn't agree on everything. That would be a pretty boring forum, yes?

Well I get blasted from everyone for my opinion too, so i guess I can say i know how it feels to speak your opinion and then get attacked by EVERYONE...so in light of that I now see why there are very few here...most leave after getting attacked!

I agree pittnurse...ALL opinions should matter but it seems if your of one of the unpopular ones, people gang up on you and act like middle schoolers!

I don't get attacked by anyone, it's people like yourself that cant' take being challenged and run to a moderator, thats the big difference.

Poor you! Life is hard on the internet, isn't it? You can't just spew any old crazy thing without being asked to explain what you mean! It's just plain awful. Somebody should do something about that. Maybe the internet police should come along and arrest all of those mean nasty people who disagree with you.

After all, this should be a place where nobody is ever challenged or asked to support their statements, or (God forbid) expected to make reasonable arguments! Otherwise, well, it's just not FAIR!

(The above post is "just my opinion". Therefore nobody else here has the right to question it, respond to it in a negative fashion, or do anything about it other than completely agree with me. Or I will cry and call a moderator to arrest all of you devil clothes wearing bad people.)

Well, actually, you are not my favorite person here, and I have wondered many a time why anyone who hasn't lived here for 20 years would spend so much time bashing Pittsburgh on a forum. I hated Colorado Springs with every fiber of my being, but I think I've posted about 2-3 negative posts on that forum total over the past 3 years. Since I don't live there anymore, I just don't care that much. But to each his own, I guess. Obviously you get some psychological payoff from it, and yes, you do provide valuable information and an alternative point of view on occasion.

However, you are not one of the "trolls" I was referring to.

I was referring to the old (truly crazy) Chinenjim in all of his many forms. Or the people who log on here pretending to be "yinzers" and then post incomprehensible things to try to convince people that Pittsburgh natives are provincial idiots. I've also seen a lot of racist posts, including some like the "yinzer" posts where someone pretends to be black and then posts about being a thug or something. All of this crap gets really old after a while.

Subdivisons, you have broken just bout every rule, almost in your posts to me and you have been reported...i will not resort to childish games like you and some your freinds here, i will not defend myself and tolerate abuse for having my own personal opinion, I will not enage here with you or anyone else who has this unhealthy need to fight here, for its against the rules and policies or did you not read them when you signed up to this site? The rules are here for a reason and if you can't respect them and talk nice to people here, you will be banned soon..
