That's where I usually end up seeing movies, been there twice in the last month for Her and Monuments Men. They fill a nice niche between the blockbuster theaters and the Filmmaker's theaters. Plus, there's beer.

I'm only nominally a boomer, born half-way through the very last year normally associated with the American Post War Baby Boom. And my wife is so definitely a Gen-Xer.

I'm just pointing out that few people will go see this movie when it comes out because old folks (and I'm one) don't go to the movies in nearly the numbers that young folks do.
Two great flicks, Serpentine, Shell, serpentine!

My wife and I went to see Monuments Men yesterday, pretty much nothing but 30+, maybe even 40+ age group. I'm beginning to think WW2 movies may be going away.

And then, thinking we were young, we snuck into see The Lego Movie, wooHoo, two movies for the price of one! What a country.

I think the audience was Baby Boomer Grandparents giving their kids a break by taking the grandkids.

What cracked me up was during the previews at MM, at least 3 commercials about not talking and cell phone use were shown. At the Lego Movie, nothing, hey, how can you keep 8 year olds quiet!
