Thought I begin a thread for those of us who are NATIVE PGHERS who may or may not live in the area...Any topic can be discussed or we can just chat bout the times we lived in the area or whatever here...IT is also for those who still reside in the area and those who may even be newcomers too, but one rule, you must be nice to those of us who were here first! Who may of left the area for one reason or another! And I ask that you be nice and are the kind of person who likes group theraphy! Hee hee!

I personally was born and raised in Pgh, Pa... I remember all the Steelers games, against my will I might add! Hee hee! And I remember still the cold winter months of Jan and Feb and sometimes even March and April! I grew up on the outskirts of the city, in a working class town...where people worked hard for what they had and were furgal bout their money...I worked myself through college, 2 jobs! I took the bus! I did not find the need to buy expensive things to define who i was or am..I had to move when I got married due to the job market..now that the engineering field has picked up here, we can finally move back...we missed pgh alot! I am proud to call this town my birth home, it always will be...no matter how far I've roamed...It has always been home...well my second home...
