These were tough.

1) Mount Lebanon
5) Beechview

I had a hard time with this, because Mount Lebanon has a better walkable core, but most of the neighborhood is pretty removed from it. Still, a lot of Beechview is fairly unwalkable as well.

3) Brookline
2) Lawrenceville

1) Squirrel Hill
12) Central Northside

Squirrel Hill has a better walkable business district, but its large size means portions of it are unwalkable. Not to mention the Squirrel Hill Tunnel traffic choking up Murray Avenue.

11) Morningside
15) Strip District

1) Oakland
4) Bloomfield

If traffic/parking wasn't included Oakland might win this.

6) Manchester
2) Shadyside

1) South Side
4) Bellevue

6) Highland Park
15) Friendship

Again, more of Friendship is walkable to business districts than Highland Park.

1) Mount Lebanon
5) Beechview

I care a lot about closeness to the rest of the city. Beechview also wins on easier driving, parking, and accessibility in my view. Both lose on biking. Mt. Lebanon definitely has more, but Beechview still has a library, grocery store, bars, and a few neat restaurants.

3) Brookline
2) Lawrenceville

1) Squirrel Hill
12) Central Northside

11) Morningside
15) Strip District

1) Oakland
4) Bloomfield

6) Manchester
2) Shadyside

If we ever do this in the future we could use the results of this thread for seeding instead of population.
