I'm not so sure that just because someone drives a bus, they are a pro. Some bus drivers are kind, some just keep those four wheels rolling no matter if it's a mother crossing the street with a baby.

Actually, yeah, being a bus driver does kind of make them a pro - that being short for professional. As they are paid to drive, they are professional drivers.

That said - I know that they aren't all good.

But they do get more training and have a higher class of licensing than most of the folks driving cars.

While I have seen buses almost hit pedestrians, I don't think I have ever seen it when the pedestrian was in the right. As someone who has to walk a lot myself (in order to use the buses) I know that things like crossing against the light or stepping out from between parked vehicles can get me killed. By a bus or by a VW

Pedestrians must be extra dilligent - we have the least amount of safety gear!

I'm speaking of what I witness on a daily basis. Not just the port authority buses, but alot of these people transport buses, CMU and Pitt buses, etc. Yes you have to be good to drive them, but often their actions in traffic make me wonder how they got to be one.

UPDATE 2
well so far Pit is ok, transportation is smooth, i saw one huge car accident on fifth avenue a white car went directly through an ambulance , likely the ambulance was not having a patient

t mobile network is ok though they have a problem with registering online
Giant eagle is ok CVS pharmacy is nice, i went to strip district grocery area...nahhhhhhhhh dudes not that attractive nor their merchandise , i dont know just didnt find myself in there, rather to stick to giant eagle specially a single person grocery isnt that demanding

shadyside as i explore it every day was a good choice ,the hardest thing yet is having friends, thats the most challanging over here, though i know how to enjoy life, its way much better with pals, any suggestions on making new friends in PIT (i mean in a normal smooth way , not in a bar or so )
