My husband has a possible job in West Mifflin. We currently live in West Texas, but spent much of our lives in the New England area. We have 7 children, 5 of whom are adopted. We are white and 5 of our children are either African American or African. What areas around West Mifflin are good areas for raising children (good schools, bigger yards)? We are hoping for a safe area with a shorter commute for my husband. Also which areas do you think are most accepting of big famlies and diversity and which areas should we avoid? We don't mind suburban or rural!
Thanks |

West Mifflin is a very big area. There is East West Mifflin and West West Mifflin.
East West Mifflin is near Kennywood Park, all them areas, the western part is near Century III mall. Great area, great schools, and homes are beautiful there, I don't think you will have any problems finding a home there at all. |
