While every city definitely has its issues with fans, Philly just has more. Somebody's gotta lead the pack and its most always them. Been that way for many years.

you can keep repeating it but that doesn't make it a fact. it'sbeen proven that crime can be declining but perception of crime depends on reporting. if more crime is reported you will think crime goes up even if actual crime is down. to that end gwilly is actually correct. maybe back in the 70's it was true but the reality is that sports fans are generally a drunken, poorly behaved bunch.
I find Pittsburgh fans to be better behaved than most but I don't find them to be well behaved. if you're a visiting fan in another city and want to enjoy the game, don't wear your colors, it simply isn't worth it.

Seems you'll have to convince the nation because Philly is known for its ridiculous fans nationwide. Only in Philly is it debated.

every city has its angry fans, id know. even in this city... I went to the caps vs pens game and well.. I left in the first because I didn't want a brawl nor do I want to be left brain dead like that giants fan who got beaten at a dodgers game.

I also do think that philly ppl in general hate the PPA more than Pittsburgh folk in general which attributes to their anger at things. half the damn signs make no sense and leads to parking tickets. Not so much here in Pittsburgh.

Considering there was a show "Parking Wars" which was based in Philadelphia I would say it's so.

From what I saw of the show, it was pretty funny in Philly. They also expanded to Detroit which was also comical. The other places they spotlighted(don't remember the other cities)not so much. Philly was definitely the best.

Priceless footage I'm sure.
