I recently moved back to Pittsburgh after being away for a few years, and downtown seems busier to me than it was when I lived there before. Except for Liberty Ave and the cultural district, when I lived there from 2007-2011 it seemed dead to me at night and on Sundays. But I can see that even during the day it is positively bustling now.
