You don't have to be Charis to know your taste in weather is crazy.

My lawn has loved the weather this summer. This is the first year that it hasn't gone dormant.

The low temperature here in Athens tonight should be 60°. That's virtually unheard of in July.

But alas, like a knight dropping out of a dark cumulus cloud, the nearly all day long dark overcast broke to show sunlight for the final hour or two of the Pittsburgh day. It amazes me how often the continual overcast will show small breaks in the clouds to present what I call 'Pittsburgh teaser rays' Typically occurring the last minutes of the day. Although the 'Pittsburgh Teaser Rays' really come to fruition when one has only an hour or two at the pool and the partly cloudy sky stays cloudy your entire stay. I truly believe this is a unique aspect of the local atmosphere as we have large amounts of low level moisture, a mid level inversion and very slow clearing behind our numerous frontal passages.
