Has anyone else noticed that if you go outside of Allegheny County it gets gloomy, like the sky is permanently overcast? I especially noticed this with Beaver County. I've also noticed this with parts of Allegheny County it's self, specifically, the western part of Allegheny County, past Green Tree, and in the northern part, like in Ross.

Are you sure you don't have your own personal cloud following you around, alastad?

Ummmm no not at all. I have seen plenty of gorgeous days in Washington county, Indiana County, Butler County, Clarion Venango, Jefferson, Green, Fayette, Somerset and others. Maybe you just need to get out more.

I work in Robinson and the sun never shines out here. One time I went to lunch in Green Tree and got a nasty sunburn just getting out of my car! Never again will I venture that far east where that evil ball of fire in the sky lives. It's crazy.

Can't explain Ross but the rest of it almost sounds like you're in the downwind area of the cooling tanks at the nuke plant. It's common for them to generate clouds.

Yes - I have noticed that on the end of this one street down by where the pizza hut used to be it seems to be cloudier near the large oak tree. Its the tree on the turn where Uncle Jimmy crashed his truck back in '87, or was it '88?

Yes. The Pittsburgh region gets the moisture from the Ohio Valley and the Great Lakes. Since this is the edge of the Appalachians, we have the same weather influences as Elkins, WV. Skies start to clear up on the eastern side of the ridge past Somerset and Bedford.
