I am a bit confused about the setup of Pittsburgh, I know there are many areas like "Shadyside" and "Squirrel Hill" but then there are places like "Dormont" and "Mt Lebanon". Are Shadyside and Squirrel Hill a neighborhood, and is Dormont and Mt. Lebanon a borough?
Please help me! BTW, thank you to everyone who has provided me with so much helpful information! THOMAS |

Places like Shadyside and Squirrel Hill are called neighborhoods because they lie within the city limits of Pittsburgh. Places like Dormont and Mt. Lebo are named otherwise (boroughs or townships usually) because they are outside of the city.
