Hard to believe last night was the first time I was ever there. Great venue, the architecture is amazing. And the Boz-Man put on a great show!

To be sure, and they were not built for today's wide adult butt.

But I had to laugh, they have signs everywhere prohibiting standing on the seats. You will be ejected from the theater, no exceptions. No way that would happen last night, it was Senior Citizen time.

How was the sound? I saw The Drive-By Truckers there a few years ago and the sound was terrible but I doubt that Skaggs played at the same volume. I've heard other people complain about the sound there.

Not on Heinz Hall level, but good enough. Not a bad seat, viewing wise, in the house.

I love this venue, but I have to agree that the sound quality is less than ideal.

There's not a whole lot of places in the US with unique venues like this.

Saw Judy Collins there last Thursday & agree, the sound quality wasn't great and the acoustics did not enhance her vocals.

If you have never been, get to the Palace in Greensburg. Another great little venue.

Living in Pittsburgh means never not knowing which old performers are still alive.
