Ha! Exactly! Or "I have a black/gay friend..." as if that makes you immune to racism/homophobia.
I had someone ask me once if they count 'count me as a black friend' (I assume because I am mixed). I asked her how many white friends she had, and she had no idea. I waited for her to catch my meaning...

What the heck is a Nueweiler? And why would someone come all the way from the steel mill in Johnstown to a bar in Pittsburgh?

I was unaware that I needed to take an advanced geography quiz to take part in this thread. It is indeed a good thing however that I did take classes in the tolerance of trolls.

P.S. Even someone from IL knows about PA beer legends. Figure it out.

Nah, doo-dah ain't no troll. But I've lived here all my life and never heard of Nueweiler as well. Just looked it up, seems like it's popular in Eastern PA, and around here the state ends at State College, screw Philly and Harrisburg along with Allentown.

I don't think it extends that far east. Maybe Altoona.

Everybody's welcome here, even geographically challenged Illinoisians.

Been back to Dallas lately?

LOL, I'm the troll? Have you not heard of Iron City? That would have been the preferred chug of the millhunks from J&L. Or perhaps they would have hadaDuke. Or maybe they quaffed Early and Often, if they were old-timers.

Maybe I just know a bit too much about American beer history. You can always enlighten me on the in's and outs of how to make those pink wine spritzer drinks, my wife likes them and I can always learn how to make a better one from someone like yourself.
