Man I thought only people in Cleveland bickered like what I have been reading in this post.
You guys are lucky that you have Polish Hill and the awesome eateries that cater to serving Polish food. I live in Akron (over in your fave neighboring state, Ohio - *kidding*) and we only have Babushka's in Macedonia and Sokolowski's Inn in Tremont. It is very rare that I get to these places, despite how awesome they may be.
Luckily, my grandma used to make everything from scratch and had passed that knowledge on to my mom. We have pierogies, sauerkraut & keilbasa, etc. every holiday. My mom told me that I don't get the recipes until she dies (morbid, I know), but we are fine with her whipping it all up for a long time to come.

Stop arguing - be glad that you live in Pgh and not crappy Cleveland.
