At least you'll still be around for the Kenny Chesney concert this weekend.

How do people do this, this moving around and living in many different cities and countries throughout their lives? As a blue-collar Pittsburgher this sounds like science fiction to me. Aside from people who are in the service, of course.

Fatso Luigi, sometimes...it just happens. Through no say of my own, from my birth in Pittsburgh, I lived here, then NYC, Montreal, back to Pittsburgh, Toronto, back to Pittsburgh, VA, Pittsburgh, mid-state PA, VA, then....back to Pittsburgh.

If you are a local, and this has been your home for your life, I'd say: that must be NICE.

Ate at Branzino years ago, and it was good then. Not sure he owned it then? there's definitely a higher volume of good food in Seattle as its a bigger city, but there's some great food here. We were huge fans of Spinasse in Capitol hill - we'll be living a mile from there - Steelhead Diner and Matts in the Market at Pike Place, and Cuoco in South lake Union. My new office is about 198.4673 feet from Cuoco. And 7 inches further to the Brave Heart Tavern

We'll also be within staggering distance of the International District. I hope I can get Sichuan food as good as Squirrel Hill!!

I'm in the hi tech/software/science world, and while we may take things a little to extremes with 3 Pacific crossings and now two trans US moves in 15 years, this sort of relocation is not uncommon in my world.

Seattle is our last move in the US (famous last words) before one day a return to Sydney. We'd have stayed here apart from my job being a bit weird (bad timing with re-orgs, new management between when I accepted and joined) and getting offered a really exciting new position in Seattle. We've had a ball in Pittsburgh.
