There is a restaruant in Slippery Rock called North Country that is great. Best burger I have ever had. They raise their own cattle, so you can actually get it rare if you want. Looks like a nice route. Warren is a nice town as well, if you want to eat there. I don't know the restaurants very well though, but it is a nice place. Chautauqua Institute is an amazing place. Well worth the stop to say the least.

If you can incorporate it into your route, the drive along Lake Erie via NY/PA route 5 is also a very scenic route with many nice lake views. Not sure how you'd manage that with the US 62 routing, though.

I don't have a lot of experience with that but I do suggest checking out the New York shores of Lake Erie.

If you're going the Rt 5 route along the lake, between Farnham and Derby, take Old Lake Shore Rd and run along the lake.

There's a couple nice parks along that route as well (Evangola and Wendt Beach). North of Wendt Beach, there's some beautiful old estates along the way.

Takes you through some interesting towns, like Punxy and Johnsonburg known for its famed paper mill, as well as nice countryside and forests.
This one, I drive this about two to three times a year and it will remind you how beautiful Pennsylvania really is. If you take this route, you also get to stop at Punxy Phil's for an awesome breakfast.

The west shore features the town of Chautauqua, which is adorable and houses the famed Chautauqua Institution! Both routes rejoin one another at Mayville anyways. To save a few minutes and to avoid the ugly retail sprawl west of Jamestown you could instead take I-88 West as planned at Jamestown and then get off at Exit 8 (Mayville/Lakewood)---one exit past the one you have routed.

Then if you FURTHER weren't in a hurry you could take Route 5 along Lake Erie instead of I-90 once you hit Westfield, NY.

219 will also take the traveler past the native American casino in Salamanca, if they are looking to win some money at the slots to defray the costs of the trip.

It is up to you. The reason I suggest I-90 is to shorten the trip because the drive is going to be very long but from Franklin to the Western end (either side) of Chautauqua, it is worth it. Like I said, one of the best drives in the country. I would rank it up there with the Blue Ridge Parkway.
