Drove this morning from L'ville for a medical appt. in Oakland. Not too terrible at all detouring over the Millville Bridge to Centre.

I like the new turning lane on Centre at North Craig, looks good to prevent backed up traffic on Centre at least for the cars going straight.

I haven't had much of a problem with the construction zone so far. Craig Street does have a tendency to back up pretty heavily northbound into the zone at rush hour, though. But I think everybody has adapted or found alternate routes.

Overall the project is progressing extremely well. PennDOT and their chosen contractor(s) seem to be adhering to their strict schedule. Traffic is flowing pretty smoothly. I've noticed Liberty Avenue through Bloomfield has been much worse at rush-hour. I've also noticed additional traffic on the narrow "Melwood cut" between Polish Hill and North Oakland (under the Bloomfield Bridge). I do worry, though, about how well Centre Avenue will be able to accept the overflow when Baum Boulevard is closed near Melwood in both directions while the busway bridge is replaced.
