I was at Lowe's last night (Friday) and there was definitely some singles action going on. I wasn't wearing my rings and a 35+ year old guy were chatting me up. I also saw a couple of women eyeing a guy and eventually asking him for 'advice'. YMMV.

I actually agree that Pittsburgh probably isn't the best place for 'older' singers, but unfortunately I do not think many places are. Everyone I know who met their partner after 30 met them online.

If you live in the South Hills, I know the Linden Grove in Castle Shannon tends to get an older crowd of people. I used to go when I was in my late 30s and I felt young. There are a lot of people in their 40s and 50s and older who go there.
