I was at Lowe's last night (Friday) and there was definitely some singles action going on. I wasn't wearing my rings and a 35+ year old guy were chatting me up. I also saw a couple of women eyeing a guy and eventually asking him for 'advice'. YMMV.

I had bad experience with Match.com. There were so many fake profiles on there.

As I said before and almost everyone disagreed, Pittsburgh is not a single's city unless you are in college. These responses only validate my original statement.

bcb, did you not read about all of the action at Lowes?
I actually agree that Pittsburgh probably isn't the best place for 'older' singers, but unfortunately I do not think many places are. Everyone I know who met their partner after 30 met them online.

I've been flirted with at Barnes & Noble quite a bit. Might want to try there to score sometime?!

If you live in the South Hills, I know the Linden Grove in Castle Shannon tends to get an older crowd of people. I used to go when I was in my late 30s and I felt young. There are a lot of people in their 40s and 50s and older who go there.Linden Grove home
The link has photos and you can see the customers are no spring chickens. Of course, you are never to old to have fun, if you know what I mean.

Acacia is a good option too. The prices and atmosphere tend to scare away the young ones.

Also you can try Cabana Bar in Wexford or Rumfish Grill in Bridgeville, both of which are often referred to as “cougar dens"
