Wegman's would give the Big Bird a run for it's money. Stores are cleaner, well stocked, prices are better as well. They have great pizza if you're on the run for lunch. I'd like to see them crack the Pgh area.

It really is like a strange cult. People become obsessed with Wegman's. I work with a couple of people from upstate NY and they talk about Wegman's like tween girls talk about boy bands. Like I said, I am sure it a nice store and would be a welcome addition to Pittsburgh. I just think the hype I have been hearing on these boards over the years about a grocery store seems a bit silly. I know there is animosity towards Giant Eagle but a Market District should be able to provide pretty much anything that a Wegman's does as far as products go.
