I am considering relocating to the Pittsburgh area, and I have found the opinions and information on this board to be very useful. If you had to pick between North Huntingdon and Plum Boro (near Boyce Park), which would you choose and why?

I do plan on visiting in the near future, but I am hoping that some natives will be able to paint a picture of these two communities for me.

First and foremost you should realize that Plum is in Allegheny County and North Huntingdon is in Westmoreland County. This will have a major impact on your taxes, favoring North Huntingdon. Both places are very close to one another and are quite similar actually if you ask me, both having experienced steady growth for the last several years but still remain largely rural in some regards.
