Another day in America, another mass shooting.

Unfortunately there was another mass shooting this time in San Bernardino. This made me wonder the question if Pittsburghers worry about mass shootings.

There's been mass shootings in Pittsburgh before, like LA Fitness, and others. However we have never had anything like San Bernardino, or Newtown or Virginia Tech.

Do you worry about mass shootings in Pittsburgh or do you not? (I personally do not.)

Worrying is a waste of my time, no matter what the subject.

It does seem like these event occur a lot more often in Southern and Western states than the Northeast (and yeah I know it's happened here before but it is less common in this part of the country than other areas).

No. It's not something I can control. If it were to happen, chances are I wouldn't see it coming. Not a bad way to go, all things considered.

On Monday morning it almost happened -- a PAT bus was determined, no matter that there were 5 of us in the CLEARLY MARKED CROSSWALK WITH A GREEN LIGHT, to make his turn. I was just so shocked that I didn't even think to get the bus number or anything, but he was not yielding to any stinking pedestrian, screw state law and was 2 feet from hitting a guy in front of me. So, yes, SO much more concerned for my safety crossing the streets around here than I am about being randomly shot.
