I think it is certainly true that many households in the South Side have at least one car. I guess my point is that car ownership alone does not really tell you much about the lifestyle of those people, including how often and for what purpose they actually use their cars.

The streets are lined with cars in the southside because it is a very dense area. Almost every dense area is going to have the streets lined with cars. You can see someone is holding there spot with a cone in this picture (classic).

But I do love how squirrels and grinnies tightrope across them... they do that here and then crawl into the tall trees and chuff at the cats.... it just sounds like they are cussing up a storm...
