I am self employed, my tax rate hits around 40%, how is it possible to make $22 an hour and not go broke?

When I was traveling for work, a lot of the guys driving me around in Town Cars were their own deal. They bought the car, made relationships with the bell/door guys at the hotels, built a stable of clients, and charged their own rate.

Oh, also my parents routinely use a private car guy to go to and from the airport. They just used him in January of this year. And he will drive you for other reasons, too.

No, not specifically, but I have found the same kind of guys pretty much every place I've traveled all over the world.

You're not going to find that around here anymore, along with many other places. That went out years ago in and around da 'burgh...along with Lincoln Town Cars. Fewer and farther between now unless you want to go with the MKT.

I was referring specifically to SCR, and he works for Postmates (though they may have a similar requirement, I'm not sure). Still....10 year old car is far far cheaper and can be just as reliable as a brand new, financed car.
