Default Duquesne - McKeespot

I know Duquesne is no onger a Hungarian community which is very sad to me. I would move back in a heartbeat if it was. I think McKeesport stil is somewhat. I wish to know what if any liocation do the Hungarian communities exist today.

Default Duquesne/McKeesport

Since my family comes from that area, I can answer some of your questions. In Duquesne, most if not all Hungarians have left. There are still Hungarians in McKeesport and Versailes. Also North Huntingdon has a sizable community. Otherwise Hungarians are spread throughout the county area. Jobs are another thing all together. The money you earn in NYC will not be anywhere matched in the Burgh. There will be some jobs though b ut as to other stuff, I do not know. I know there is still a Hungarian Club on Walnut Street in McKeesport and there is a Hungarian meat market, churches, ect but what once was a thriving centralized Hungarian community is no longer. What else I can not say but maybe enough of our younger Hungarians will wake-up and bring some of that back.

Then one has to wonder why (s)he inquires, "I wish to know what if any liocation [sic] do the Hungarian communities exist today" if (s)he already knew the answer.
