Seriously, the weather yesterday was my ideal. Not much wind, mid 50s and party cloudy.

I think it's funny this thread was listed right below "Pittsburgh is so so depressing".

Coming up- Typical Pittsburgh 'Winter Storm'
As a weather nerd the one thing that continues to frustrate me about Pittsburgh's winter weather is the lack of all snow events, ie.. snowstorms. A typical scenerio for Pittsburgh is what is most likely to happen over the next 36 hours. ( Monday night-Wed morning) Cold, dry air perfect for snow will be replaced by milder air as the next storm approaches Pittsburgh. Hence we get the typical, snow to start, mix with sleet and change to rain only to end as a little snow. GROSS! Truly amazing how hard it is for Pittsburgh's atmosphere to stay cold at all levels for a all snow event.

Having grown up in Buffalo, I only have one thing to say about the lack of snow in Pittsburgh.
***THANK GOD***

c-c-c-cold!
Wow, what a difference a couple of days make. Have no fear, there is a warm front coming in by the end of the week.

No kidding. Remember how Pittsburgh always gets one or two heavy snows a year (you know, the total of 4 days that EVERY Pittsburgher dwells on), well, we just got one. LOL.
I did see it's supposed to clear up by today and just flurry a little over the course of the next few days but mostly be clear.

I escaped to Palm Beach ( florida ) for a few days. Last 24 hours have seen record rain and severe thunderstorms non stop. They have a long term drought going on so the natives are jumping with joy. Something we don't have to worry about in Pittsburgh-drought!
